Stop:Watch is a stopwatch and timer for Mac, with an optional one-time Pro upgrade. App downloads and purchases are managed through Apple’s App Store.
About these terms
These terms describe use of the Stop:Watch website and provide information about the app, made by Justin Eiskamp. Contact justincodes@icloud.com with questions.
App license
Your use of the app is governed by the license agreement supplied with its App Store distribution. Where no custom license is supplied, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies. These website terms do not replace that license or Apple’s applicable terms.
Free features and Pro
The app offers free features and an optional Pro upgrade. The App Store and in-app purchase screen show the price, currency, and features available at the time of purchase. Pro is offered as a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription. Purchases and restoration are associated with the Apple Account used to buy the upgrade and remain subject to Apple’s rules.
Payment processing and refund requests are handled through Apple. For purchase support, use Apple’s purchase support or contact the developer for help with the app. Nothing here limits refund rights or other rights available under applicable law.
Your sessions
You retain rights to the titles, notes, and other content you enter. Session data is stored locally on your Mac. You are responsible for maintaining any backups you need. The website’s interactive stopwatch is a demonstration, not a storage or synchronization service.
Appropriate use
Use the app and website lawfully and without interfering with their operation or the rights of others. Stop:Watch is intended for everyday timing and productivity. Do not rely on it as the sole timing mechanism for medical, emergency, or other safety-critical activities.
Website content
Stop:Watch branding, app assets, and original website content belong to their respective owners. You may link to the website and refer to the app accurately. Other use of protected materials requires permission unless allowed by law. Apple, Mac, macOS, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Stop:Watch is an independent app and is not endorsed by Apple.
Availability and changes
The app and website may change over time. Compatibility and available features depend on the app version and operating system. The current App Store listing and purchase screen are the reference for availability and purchase details. No particular future feature or uninterrupted website availability is promised.
Website limitations
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that it will always be available or free of errors. The app’s warranty and liability provisions are set out in its applicable license. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Privacy and third-party links
The privacy policy explains how the app and website handle information. Linked services, including Apple’s App Store, have their own terms and privacy policies.
Updates to these terms
These terms may be revised as the website or services change. The latest revision date appears above. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law or a separate purchase agreement.
